Jennifer Finch McEwen is an aggressive Family and Criminal Law Attorney with 16 years’ experience, with 8 of those years spent as a criminal prosecutor in West Tennessee. 

 

After graduating from Lipscomb University with her Bachelor of Science degree in Finance, Economics and Accounting, Jennifer went on to pursue her law degree at the University of Mississippi School of Law, graduating in 2005 and became licensed to practice law in 2006. Jennifer immediately began working in West Tennessee at Flippin, Collins & Hill, PLLC, as a civil defense attorney for cities and counties sued for state tort and federal law violations. She went on to work at the prestigious firm of Batson Nolan in Clarksville, Tennessee, continuing her defense work for municipal entities and medical professionals before returning to her roots in Gibson County, to be an advocate for local citizens in their Family Law and Criminal cases. In 2013 she was asked to join the District Attorney General’s Office as an Assistant District Attorney General prosecuting all levels of crime but especially child abuse and child rape, in the 28th Judicial District of Tennessee. 

 

Jennifer reopened her private office in 2021 where she continues to practice now, focusing primarily on criminal defense, custody litigation, adoption, emergency custody orders, dependent and neglected children and divorce.
